Tamil Nadu, India is marked by my time working as a Global Missions Intern at MBKG Pannai near Vellore, a city the Lonely Planet describes as a dusty market town. Vellore is located in northern Tamil Nadu two hours west of Chennai and three hours east of Bangalore. It is best known for the Christian Medical College and Hospital located there – a hospital to which people come from all over India to receive treatment. I lived and worked at MBKG Pannai from September, 2006 until July 2007.
